ATOD AND CHILDHOOD DRINKING COALITION CREATING HEALTHY ATTITUDES IN TEENS ![]() ![]() | COMMUNITY RESOURCES
Adolescence, more than any other phase of life, is a time when many young people actively experiment with alcohol and other drugs as they attempt to establish their own identities. Although this right of passage has gone on for centuries, the dangers have never been as great as they are today. But adolescents aren't the only ones who experiment. Young adults, parents, professionals, and senior citizens find themselves struggling to know how to address their own alcohol use, drug use, or addiction. The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources gives families, schools, businesses and community organizations the tools they need to help youth and adults develop effective coping skills and to navigate the many directions alcohol and drug use and abuse may take them. There is no shame in asking for help, whether you are a parent, a spouse, a child of adult parents, or part of an organization that has been touched by alcohol or drug abuse.
With 25 years experience, The Center for Alocohol and Drug Resources has built a strong foundation of evidenced-based programs and a tower of resources. Unlike other organizations, preventing the consequences of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug abuse is all we do. But none of this matters if you don't have people who can connect with youth, parents, educators, and other professionals. That's where our staff of knowledgeable prevention specialists comes in. Our staff know how to communicate with many different audiences to get important prevention messages across.
Partnering with you and collaborating with you, our team of knowledgeable and experienced professionals will bring to your school or organization a range of programs and services that addresses all aspects of alcohol, tobacco, and drug abuse - from prevention to advocacy to treatment referrals.
