Employee Assistance Program

An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to employers in Bergen County who want to provide employees and their families with confidential, professional counseling when a personal or emotional problem becomes more than the individual can handle alone or when it begins to interfere with the employee’s job performance. Problems can range from family conflicts to alcohol and substance abuse to managing stress, depression and grief. The EAP counselor assesses the employee’s problem, develops a plan to resolve it, refers them to sources of help, and assists with the coordination of services received.
