Positive Parenting

This 3-session program helps parents better understand the dynamics of the teenage experience and learn strategies to help increase their children’s ability to make smart, healthy and safe decisions.

Topics covered include

• Building assets in your child
• Learning the reasons why kids might start to use or abuse drugs and alcohol
• Understanding the stages of adolescent growth
• Communicating effectively with difficult teens.

Parent sessions meet for two hours each week for three weeks.
