Too Good for Drugs (Grade 6)

TOO GOOD FOR DRUGS (TGFD) has as its core critically important life skills for prevention that reduce risk factors and enhance protective factors related to alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, as well as other problem behaviors among students. TGFD develops the skills students need to make good decisions when facing the increasing challenges of stress, peer pressure and temptation. TGFD teaches goal setting, decision making, identifying and managing emotions, communicating effectively and recognize the signs and symptoms of drugs use.

This programs runs as a series of six sessions of approximately 45 minutes. Lessons are taught through interactive lessons which include discussion and role playing activities.
