Faith Based Narcan Training (Recovery Month Observance)

This specialized training is designed for faith-based leaders who are committed to supporting individuals and families affected by the opioid crisis. As trusted voices in the community, faith leaders play a vital role in promoting awareness, compassion, and life-saving interventions.

Through this session, participants will:

Learn about the impact of opioid addiction in our communities
Understand how to recognize the signs of an overdose
Receive hands-on instruction on administering Naloxone (Narcan)
Explore ways to integrate recovery support into faith-based outreach
Gain access to resources and tools to continue supporting recovery efforts
This training was developed in collaboration with local partners as part of our efforts to honor Recovery Month and expand the role of faith communities in public health and healing.

Who Should Attend:
Pastors, clergy, ministry leaders, lay leaders, and anyone serving in a faith-based capacity.
