Save a Life Day
Join Bergen County in participating in Save a Life Day 2025, a nationwide initiative dedicated to preventing overdose deaths through the free distribution of naloxone (Narcan)—a life-saving medication that reverses opioid overdoses.
This year marks the first time all 50 states are participating, and Bergen County is proud to be part of this historic movement. Local events will be held at community centers, libraries, and public spaces where residents can stop by to:
Pick up free naloxone kits
Learn how to use Narcan safely and effectively
Access resources for substance use prevention and recovery
Connect with local health and harm reduction advocates
Let’s make Bergen County a leader in overdose prevention. One dose. One life. One community.
